Detailed Documentation

In a single-path Rayleigh channel environment, we conduct simulations using Simulink to measure the Bit Error Rate performance with BPSK modulation. The modeling approach involves configuring two transmitters and one receiver with Space-Time Block Coding (STBC) implementation. We implement channel estimation algorithms to track the time-varying channel characteristics and calculate the Mean Square Error between estimated and actual channel parameters. The simulation framework generates relationship curves between Bit Signal-to-Noise Ratio and Channel Estimation Mean Square Error, as well as Bit Signal-to-Noise Ratio versus Bit Error Rate. Key simulation components include the Rayleigh channel block for fading characteristics, BPSK modulator/demodulator pairs, and STBC encoder/decoder modules. Theoretical analysis is incorporated to provide deeper understanding of the performance limits and validate simulation results through analytical BER expressions for STBC systems in Rayleigh fading conditions.
