In this project, I have developed a Simulink simulation file for distributed generation grid integration. During the development process, I found the implementation relatively straightforward, utilizing Simulink's power system toolbox for component modeling. To preserve the core concepts while enhancing technical depth, I've added additional explanatory content.
The simulation model incorporates advanced control techniques and algorithms, including Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) synchronization and power inverter control strategies, to ensure effective interconnection between distributed generation sources and the main grid. Through simulation of various scenarios such as varying load conditions and generator power fluctuations, I evaluated and optimized system performance using MATLAB's simulation capabilities. The model also considers grid stability and security aspects, implementing protection relays and voltage/frequency regulation mechanisms to ensure reliable and sustainable distributed generation operation.
This simulation file has provided deeper insights into the working principles of distributed generation grid integration systems, serving as a valuable reference for future research and development projects in renewable energy integration and smart grid technologies.
