Detailed Documentation

In our investigation of the SLM method for PAPR reduction in OFDM systems, we conducted comprehensive research focusing on parameter optimization. We systematically analyzed the impact of different phase rotation factors (d-values set to 2 and 3) and various FFT sizes (N=512, 256, and 1024) on PAPR performance. The implementation involved generating multiple candidate signals through phase rotation sequences and selecting the one with minimum PAPR. Through 10,000 experimental trials using Monte Carlo simulations, we achieved significant results in PAPR reduction performance. The algorithm efficiently generates U different phase sequences using d-ary phase factors and applies IFFT operations for each candidate signal, with computational complexity optimized through parallel processing approaches.
