In this undergraduate graduation project, we focus on the analysis of OFDM channel estimation algorithms. We will conduct simulation analysis of both LS (Least Squares) and MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error) channel estimation algorithms within OFDM systems. The implementation will involve MATLAB programming where we'll create pilot signal structures, implement LS estimation using matrix inversion methods, and develop MMSE algorithms incorporating statistical channel knowledge through covariance matrix calculations. To support our research, we will reference relevant technical literature and develop comprehensive simulation programs to validate our analytical results. The simulation code will include signal transmission models, channel impairment simulations, and performance comparison metrics such as Bit Error Rate (BER) and Mean Square Error (MSE) calculations.
