Application Context

This research focuses on channel estimation problems in communication systems. To address this challenge, we implement the CE-BEM model for channel estimation. Compared to previous code implementations, our approach offers a more streamlined methodology for LS channel estimation through optimized basis function selection and reduced computational complexity.

Key Technology

In this study, we employ the CE-BEM model to perform channel estimation for time-varying channels. The core implementation involves representing the time-varying channel impulse response using complex exponential basis functions, where the channel coefficients are estimated through least-squares optimization. This key technology effectively solves channel estimation problems in communication systems by providing a parametric representation that reduces estimation variance and offers a foundation for advanced research in adaptive filtering and channel tracking algorithms.
