Simulation of Multi-User MIMO algorithms including Block Diagonalization (BD), Zero Forcing (ZF), and Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) with implementation analysis

Detailed Documentation

In this paper, we conduct simulation studies on multi-user MIMO algorithms. We investigate different algorithms including Block Diagonalization (BD), Zero Forcing (ZF), and Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE). Through simulating these algorithms, we will gain better understanding of their performance and effectiveness in multi-user MIMO systems. The simulation typically involves implementing precoding matrices for each algorithm: BD employs block diagonalization to eliminate inter-user interference, ZF uses channel inversion techniques to nullify interference, while MMSE applies regularization to balance interference suppression and noise enhancement. Key implementation aspects include channel matrix calculation, signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) computation, and bit error rate (BER) performance evaluation across various signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions.
