This study primarily involves modeling cellular wireless communication system channels, sectorization, and other components, utilizing MATLAB simulations to calculate system outage probability, with outage probability magnitude serving as a key metric for evaluating system performance. In our research, we implemented various channel fading models (such as Rayleigh and Rician fading) through MATLAB's communication toolbox functions and examined different sectorization schemes by configuring antenna patterns and sector boundaries programmatically. We also investigated different modulation and coding schemes by implementing digital modulation techniques (like QPSK and 16-QAM) and error-correcting codes, comparing their performance differences through BER (Bit Error Rate) versus SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) simulations. Through these extended investigations, we developed comprehensive performance evaluation algorithms that calculate outage probability thresholds based on signal quality metrics, enabling thorough assessment of cellular wireless communication system performance. This approach facilitates the proposal of corresponding optimization strategies to enhance system reliability and stability, including adaptive parameter tuning algorithms that automatically adjust transmission power and modulation schemes based on real-time channel conditions.
