In this discussion, we can introduce additional image quality assessment metrics to enrich the content. Beyond the previously mentioned VIF (Visual Information Fidelity), IFC (Information Fidelity Criterion), VSNR (Visual Signal-to-Noise Ratio), PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio), and MSE (Mean Squared Error), numerous other evaluation standards are available for measuring image quality. For instance, SSIM (Structural Similarity Index) evaluates structural similarity through luminance, contrast, and structure comparisons typically implemented using sliding window computation. FSIM (Feature Similarity Index) assesses feature similarity by combining phase congruency and gradient magnitude features, often computed in both spatial and frequency domains. NIQE (Natural Image Quality Evaluator) measures image naturalness using multivariate Gaussian models trained on natural image statistics. By incorporating these new metrics, we can conduct more comprehensive image quality assessments and provide more accurate evaluation results through multi-dimensional analysis.
