Battery Grid Integration

Resource Overview

Implementation of battery grid integration system including battery model, four-quadrant converter model, and controller model with active/reactive power control algorithms to enable bidirectional power exchange between battery storage and AC grid systems.

Detailed Documentation

In this project, we have successfully implemented battery grid integration. The system architecture incorporates three key components: a battery model simulating storage characteristics, a four-quadrant converter model for bidirectional power flow control, and an intelligent controller model implementing advanced power management algorithms. Our controller employs sophisticated active and reactive power regulation strategies, allowing precise control over power exchange dynamics. Through this implementation, we have achieved efficient bidirectional power transfer between the battery storage system and the AC grid network. This technology demonstrates significant potential for enhancing renewable energy utilization and grid stability in future sustainable energy development. The system's control logic includes power dispatch algorithms that optimize charging/discharging cycles based on grid conditions and battery state-of-charge parameters.
