This work aims to enhance MATLAB's graphical capabilities by upgrading from 2D polar coordinate plotting to 3D polar coordinate visualization. This extension facilitates superior data representation, enabling multidimensional data interpretation. The plotting program incorporates multiple parameter selection options, making it suitable for various visualization needs through customizable coordinate transformations and surface rendering techniques.

We implemented 3D polar coordinate plotting using MATLAB's graphical programming capabilities. The program provides comprehensive plotting functions and enables rapid generation of complex visualizations. Through strategic parameter configuration involving spherical coordinate transformations (converting [rho, theta, phi] to Cartesian [x, y, z]), we successfully achieved 3D polar plotting. Key functions include meshgrid generation for angular coordinates, trigonometric conversions for coordinate mapping, and surface plotting with customizable colormaps. This technology enables enhanced data visualization and more intuitive understanding of spatial data relationships through azimuthal and polar angle representations.
