I developed a program for computing time-frequency distributions that supports specification of Cohen's class distribution types including WVD, CWD, PWVD, SPWVD, and BJD. The implementation features an interactive GUI interface with data import/export functionality for enhanced visualization and analysis. The algorithm automatically detects input data parameters such as sampling rate and signal length, dynamically adjusting computation parameters to optimize accuracy.
The core implementation utilizes efficient matrix operations for distribution calculations, with separate modules handling different Cohen's class variants. For WVD, the code employs the analytic signal generation and instantaneous autocorrelation computation, while for SPWVD, it implements smooth windowing functions in both time and frequency domains.
